Yes: Green tea is useful for weight loss, but there is evidence that Earl Grey and certain combination teas are even more effective. Overall you want to eat foods that are whole and not processed foods, mainly vegetables, lean meat, lentils, cooked tomatoes and exercise regularly. Strength training before aerobic exercise works best.

The Linus Pauling Institute reported a study indicating that green tea can assist w glycemic control. Additionally, green tea has a diuretic effect.
