kidney transplant: You have to define moderation in your question. Alcohol affects the liver, medications you take for your transplant are metabolized by the liver and excessive alcohol can damage your liver.

Yes: If there is no history of liver issues moderate, responsible drinking of alcohol is ok after kidney transplant.
