Anxiety, Stress: Feeling of lump in the throat and acid are likely due to stresses of relationships with unresolved conflicts and feelings, stresses of school, work, and finances. These stresses can cause anxiety. Alcohol can make acidity worse. Increasing Nexium (esomeprazole) to 2 tablets/day will not be beneficial for anxiety. Please see your physician for diagnosis and treatment.
