Dysphagia: You didn't describe why you're taking Nexium (esomeprazole) but it's commonly used for various degrees of peptic ulcer disease, eg heart burn or acid reflux, which can sometimes lead to esophagitis or inflammation of swallowing tube making it difficult/painful to swallow. So if Nexium (esomeprazole) isn't enough, then yes, go see your Gastroenterologist for further evaluation, perhaps upper endoscopy.
