Trouble digesting fat: lipase low fasting; no change after lundh meal. lipase should peak to 5x basal level after meal; i need quantitative ref range.

Incorrect info: Lipase levels do not increase five fold after a meal. Five fold increase would be diagnostic of pancreatitis. How do you know you have trouble digesting fat? It may help to see your doctor and may request a referral to a gastroenterologist. See this site for lipase info. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/003465.htm.
