Sciatica=PinchNerve: Just back pain is not usually a "pinched" nerve. A pinched nerve should give you sciaitca which is pain, numbness, weakness down your leg. Mechanical back pain can be muscle spasms, arthritis of you facet joints, or degeneration of your lumbar discs. Either way see you orthopaedic spinal specialist and get started on a phsyical therapy regimen for starters and follow your specialist orders.
