This is common.: If you really want therapy to help you, try really hard to say something else - even, "i am trying" or "that is interesting, can you help me find a way to answer" or "yes, i want to know more about that" - whatever. Hopefully, you are not (; no one thinks you are) being willful - it's hard to deal with some things. If anything, the pain's blocking your mind for now. Keep trying. It can get better.
