Botox: Botox is used for many things. It is used to improve jaw pain from TMJ syndrome and from dystonia -a muscle spasm. If you have an unusualy large masseter muscle Botox injection will weaken the muscle which will atrophy and become smaller making the jaw appear smaller.

Yes, if: Yes, if your problem is related to enlarged masseter muscles, usually from bruxism. If your masseter muscles are not enlarged, Botox will be of no benefit. If it is indicated and works, treatments will be needed every 3-6 months indefinitely.
