Probably not: Occasional localized itching is not a side effect of azathioprine.

azathioprine; itchng: Itching may be coincidental rather than effect of med. What other meds/supplements do u use? New soap/detergent/perfume/etc? Any rash? See prescribing doc for eval to determine cause of itch. Otc antihistamine (zyrtec/ allegra/claritin/benadryl) may help in meantime. Also look for signs of skin infxn.
