More omega 3 fats: Many vitamins are needed for healthy hair, including b3, b5, b6, b12, biotin ; a, c, d, e ; zinc. The most effective are e, d ; biotin. Adequate essential omega 3 ; 6 fatty acids are also important. Flax ; hemp oil are good sources but some need epa/dha-see comment.Avoid sugars ; fried foods ; emphasize fruits ; veggies of all colors. Hair Help: Healthy hair: Get adequate sleep,avoid excess sugar & fat, v carbonated drinks, eat enough protein, exercise regularly. Biotin helps (don't over do it). Insure you have adequate Iron (like kale & other dark green leafies), Omega 3 fatty acids (like walnuts),vitamin E (fruits & veggies),B vitamins & zinc. Avoid sulfates & formaldehyde in shampoos). Avoid excessive blow dry heat.
