Aleve (naproxen) or ibuprofen: Most cramping is due to complex biochemical processes in muscles, but may boil down to simple overuse, in many different forms. Shoes and activity level are usually important factors while more complex issues such an electrolyte imbalances, while possible, are less likely. Gatorade or equivalent electrolyte solutions may help.
