I had a positive ppd & have been asked for a chest x-ray.if the chest xray is negetive will i still have to take the medication, if yes, for how long?

POSITIVE PPD: If the chest x-ray is negative that means you do not have PTB infection. Positive PPD can be due to previous vaccination, sensitivity to ppd, or exposure. Some mds give inh for 6 months prophylaxis. Infectious d. Specialist knows the current procedure.
