A member asked:

If a dignastic mamm shows a irregular focal asymmetric density what will a mri show with this finding?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It might show more: Mri shows a more detailed picture and will clarify the images better than a mammogram does. But it has some false positives too. So it may or may not help, yet it may be entirely normal in which case you can forget about the suspicious thickening shown by the mammogram.
