Variable: Memory loss of the events near the time of a loss of consciousness may or may not return, depending upon the severity of the injury. It is not uncommon for these memories to return over the ensuing days to weeks.

It may come back.: It may come back or may not. They may not remenber how theygot into accident. Once they start remembering day to day activites, they are on the path of recovery.

Some may.: There is frequently memory loss in coma, particularly if trauma was involved. Over time some memories may return or events will be related to the person so that they seem to remember.
