So sorry you have been through so much. Not clear if an MRI of the brain will show precise structural changes due to lack of oxygen. A more accurate study would be a PET Scan, but very expensive. A full-scale neuropsychological study would be very helpful. Both neurological and psychiatric consultations could be useful in concert
