Might suggest: May see inflammation pattern that can raise the possibility. Colonoscopy with biopsy is better-suited to diagnose. Gastroenterologist can be helpful with diagnosis and treatment.

Kind of.: A ct scan can suggest crohn's as a possible diagnosis, but a proper diagnosis requires a complete history and physical examination, and most often an endoscopic evaluation too. Biopsies are commonly taken, but sometimes the diagnosis rests on the doctor's experience in putting together the pieces of the puzzle.
