Good questions!: Migraines have many causes; mostly they are inherited, but other factors (estrogen, stress, traumatic head injuries and others) can play roles, too. It may benefit you to identify what trigger your migraines; common triggers include more than 5 cups of coffee daily, chocolate, nitrates ; nitrites, sulfates ; sulfites, nuts, alcohol, msg, etc. See a neurologist to treat your migraines.
