Do you mean:: Exercise induced compartment syndrome? Referred to as exertional compartment syndrome-eic is a tough diagnosis to make ; you are best served by seeing a specialist as medial tibial stress syndrome (shin splints) must be sorted out among other causes. Measurement of intracompartmental pressures pre and post exercise can be useful but hard to interpret. Surgery is not the only option--.
