A member asked:

Some people practice inversion to relieve back pain. are there any potential ocular or visual problems that could result.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

depends: Inversion can elevate the pressure in the eye although rarely to a dangerous degree. If you have a pressure problem to begin with, then this could be an issue. Inversion can elevate the venous pressure in the eye, and if you have a weak vessel, you could have a hemorrhage in the front (benign) or in the retina which could be serious. These could be a risk at your age.
