A member asked:

Do inversion tables make you taller by decompressing your spine and stretching out your knees, albeit temporarily? if used it daily would i be taller?

Generally, you are a: 1/2 inch taller in the morning compared to the evening due to changes in disc height as a young adult related to its biomechanical properties and the effect of being upright through the day and then lying down at night which an inversion table can possibly mimic if on it long enough but not by any changes through the knees and it will not make you taller than you would be if measured in the am.

No: Long term use in a grown human has not been shown to make you taller, permanently.
