Mum 64 using compression for vascular ulcer. ulcer tends to bleed as wound dressing is removed as it gets stuck to the ulcer due to compression. help!

Wet to dry: I often teach my patients that they should cover the ulcer with a saline soaked bandage or gauze and then a dry gauze...A concept known as 'wet to dry' so that the dry gauze does not further damage the skin when it is changed.
