Treatment: I am assuming that you have had proper medical evaluation with a doctor and an upper endoscopy to diagnose a bleeding ulcer. Biopsies are taken to ensure it is benign & to look for h. Pylori. Medications like h2 blockers, antacids, sucralafate & antibiotics if + h. Pylori. Endoscopy can treat the bleeding, emergency surgery if the bleeding does not stop.

Physician Evaluation: You need to have a physician evaluation. Note the times of bleeding and the character (bright red or dark red). Do you have pain? How long has this occurred? Do you have a history of ulcers? The physical would be complete with abdomen palpation and eventually an egd ( scoping of esophagus and stomach). Treatment varies with above findings.
