Braces: Most children are ready for braces when all of their baby teeth have been lost (or close to it). However, often early orthodontic intervention as early as 8-10 years of age can aid in the proper eruption and alignment of teeth and therefore prevent more serious problems later on. It is almost never too late for adult orthodontic treatment as long as teeth ; gums are healthy. Get a consult.

Most any age: Starting with the eruption of the 6-year molars for early intervention dental orthopedics and on. My most senior patient started her braces at age 79! still smiling at 87 and still going strong--very happy she did it! remember: it's easier to clean (and therefore keep) straight teeth. Do it before problems develop. You are never too old to be healthy!
