I been researching and it seems as though its not important to know which type of herpes is causing outbreaks, why is that ?

Type I or II?: Type i herpes can be in a type ii location and vice versa, due to 'dining out' sex practices.(oral sex). Therefore, it is no longer important which it is, we just treat it.
