If i was exposed to genital herpes, would stressing and worrying about it cause me to have an outbreak?

No: Stress is usually related to repeat outbreaks, not new infections. New infections from exposure usually has more to do with current health status and immune status. After first outbreak, stress, illness and sunburn seem to incite outbreaks. Men usually have apparent outbreaks that are visible. It is possible for a woman to have a non visible internal cervical herpes outbreak.
