Disallowing vitamins: Children's hospital of philadelphia will no longer maintain supplements ; vitamins on its formulary, using the argument that the fda does not regulate them. Parents can continue providing supplements to their child if they sign a waiver. http://tinyurl.com/ksfaxut safe supplements from home will be far less expensive ; could be better quality than provided by the hospital anyway. :-).
