I would encourage : You to see your physician for a comprehensive assessment. There are a number of medical conditions that can cause these symptoms. Medical reasons should be ruled out or treated. Psychological approaches may also be indicated. Take care.

Many possibilities: There may be many possible causes for you to feel fatigued and depressed. You could be hypothyroid or has another chronic medical illness contributing to these symptoms. You could be grieving a loss. You could have a clinical depression. Your best bet is to see your family doctor for an evaluation -- possibly also seeing a psychiatrist as well. There are good treatments for depression!

Complicated question: Depression is a complex issue and can cause fatigue in and of itself. Of course, the reverse is also true. Chronic fatigue and "burning the candle at both ends" can make one depressed. The first step toward getting better is acknowledging something is wrong, getting yourself checked out to make sure there is no physical problem. I.E., no thyroid issue, etc., let someone help you. Good luck!
