Not really: Hpv infection causes warts, which are raised skin lesions and are very contagious. It takes a few months, up to 2 years for your body to clear it. Recurrent is common since the virus incorporates into your cells dna and will reactivate anytime. Warts are transmitted by contact so you won't get new lesions from contacting the warts lesions from your partners but you don't clear previous infection.
