No: It is only a pain reliever. It does nothing for inflammation.

Acetaminophen: Not a particularly good mobilizer of fluid. Ibuprofen much better. Your gum and your anus inflammation may or may not be associated. Important that your see both yourGeneral Dentist and your General Physician to start the diagnostic process. There will be some overlap, but they will be taking different diagnostic paths.
