sinus thrombosis: I am not sure exactly what you are meaning, but i think you might be referring to sinus thrombosis. This involves clot formation in the major draining veins of the brain, sometimes seen after trauma, dehydration, infection, or with hypercoagulable states. Treatment involves blood thinners, reversal of inciting factors, and sometimes interventional treatments.
