Post laminectomy: If by nerve enhancement you mean nerve related symptoms, they may linger on due to post operative inflammation for 4-6 weeks, but should be much milder andimproving. If symptoms are worsening or staying the same, see your neurosurgeon. Some people suffer from chronic prolonged symptoms from post laminectomy syndrome that requires further treatments.
