Most likely...: The most likely cause of bleeding gums is poor oral hygiene which leads to gum disease. If that's the case, hopefully it's in the early stages. When was your last dental checkup and cleaning? There are other dental and medical conditions that can cause bleeding gums. See your dentist as soon as possible for a complete and thorough dental checkup.
