Not related: Your rib pain and blood clots in your last placenta are unrelated. Placental bleeding is always a possibility, but since you had 3 others with no problems, i would believe that you are at no more risk with this pregnancy. Check with your OB in case there is other info that that he may know about which would change your risk.
