recovery support: Best to ask your surgery team, however in general recovery from skin and soft tissue resection should be about a week. Okay to call surgery office for post operative report. Take a friend/family with you to hear the pathology results and help asking questions. Be welll.

Depends: Depends on the lump, surgical skills, you health. Assuming it is a small cyst and you are healthy you should be fine, alert and capable to do regular activities by next morning.
