Burning tongue: The causes of burning tongue syndrome are not always known, and there may be more than one cause. Although not known as a common cause for burning tongue, strep throat should not be ruled out. Once the strep throat is treated, if the burning tongue symptoms remain, see your dentist or an ENT specialist.
