Should i exercise if my wisdom teeth are infected?

I'm assuming : You are already under the care of a dentist. If not, that takes priority over the exercising. If you are on antibiotics waiting a few days before the extraction is to be performed then you should be fine - just don't overdo it - treadmill, elliptical should be fine - heavy weights etc -no. Hope this helps.

Exercise: If you are on antibiotics for the infected tooth, there should be no problem! however, don't mess around with infected teeth! get them treated or extracted asap! you may have that infection getting into your bloodstream and heart!

Exercise ; infection: If you are trying out for the olympics or have a big game or meet coming up, are taking adequate antibiotics and feel well enough to exercise, sure go ahead. However, it would be better to first resolve the infection and then resume your normal workout routine.

Extraction: Get them extracted, heal , then exercise. No need to increase blood flow with exercise and possibly spread infection. Priority = extraction to eliminate infection !! good luck.
