Pulled muscle: If you have pain in your groin muscle after running, it's possible that you pulled a muscle. Rest, ice, compression, and elevation (rice) may help you recover. Gentle warming up before engaging in physical activity, followed by stretching, followed by activity, followed by cool down, followed by stretching is a great way to keep limber and healthy. Good luck!
