No: Saw a 2 year old die of alcohol poisoning once, and of course lots of children with fetal alcohol syndrome. Major problems, all of them.

No: A young person can have problem with substances and that is a big problem. Young folks should not be drinking and need to be closely supervised. Adults need to do whatever it takes to get in between a child and his or her substance abuse. Depending on the child's age, such lack of appropriate supervision of a child could be grounds for child protective services to take custody through the court.
