Is pulpotomy painful for kids?

Typically not: Kids are generally more resilient. The "shot" is psychologically the worst part but there are some incredible topicals available to even offset the discomfort of the dreaded shot. Your child will be fine. Hope this helps.

Painless pulpotomy: As long as you have a gentle dentist who gets the tooth completely numb painlessly, it should be like getting a filling! give the child a good dose of Aspirin or Ibuprofen before the numbness wears off!
