Numb lip: If the root canal was on an upper tooth, the numbness should be gone within a day! if it was a lower tooth, once in awhile, the nerve can be bruised and it may take awhile for feeling to return! let your dr know!

Root canal ;numbness: It is not normal for your lip to be numb following root canal treatment. You should return to the dentist to be evaluated. There could be several reasons why your lip would be numb, however you should really let a dentist evaluate it.
