A member asked:

I got in at around 5 its hard to sleep. i have sleeping pills should i take it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Sleeping pills will usually cause sedation during the entire day if taken at 5 am. Driving or any other activities requiring attention could be impaired. There is only one sleeping pill (sonata) that can be taken if you only have about 4 hours left to sleep, without risks of affecting you the rest of the day.
