how long it takes for buttock augmentation to heal? can you go to work right away?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Otto Placik
34 years experience Plastic Surgery
Usually 2 weeks: It generally takes about 2 weeks to heal and activity restrictions are placed durimg this time. Final results may take 3-6 months. Healing may be the result of the technique or size requested. It can be accomplished with skin and fat flaps, fat injections or by using an implant.
