How long does it take to get hiv viral rna results back?

HIV: Obtaining results of pcr for viral RNA depends upon where you are, what laboratory the test is sent to, and the frequency with which they do their testing. In communities with large numbers of HIV patients this can usually be obtained within 24 hrs, but do not know how the military is handling this. The test is very rapid and should be back quickly, but with the government shutdown who knows?
