A member asked:

Can a vaginal bacteria infection make you late on your period?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Menstrual irregularities can occur from a wide variety of systemic condition which alter the metabolism or hormonal levels, and this includes infection. Bacterial vaginosis, however, if that is what you are referring to, is not likely to do this, although the emotional impact of having any form of infection might.
