Bumps on tongue: Bumps on the back of your tongue are likely taste buds or just the natural condition of your tongue! strep can manifest with spots on the back of your throat or tonsils.

Other symptoms?: The 'bumps'' on the back of your tongue are likely circumvalate papillae-type of taste bud. The bumps in the side of the tongue in the back are tonsil tissue (like the 'golf ball' looking things in your throat. All are normal. If "spots" on either and/or pain, could be strep. Call ur dentist or physician for help.
