A member asked:

After breaking your pinky toe, how long before you can wear closed shoes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bone takes: 6-8 weeks to heal. Pain is often a factor of when one can return to shoes. I like to keep patients in a surgical shoe for the first 2-3 weeks and then gradually see if shoes can be tolerated.
