see dermatologist: Wounds heal in several ways. Usually , they heal uneventfully, leaving a firm scar, and maybe some limitation of motion. Sometimes, they become infected or inflamed, and don't heal properly. Make an appointment with a surgeon or a dermatologist to look at your scar and determine exactly what is going on. They will then recommend a treatment regimen.
