A member asked:

What is thyroid simulating harmone? and how can we control it

A doctor has provided 1 answer

TSH...: Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) a.K.A. Thyrotropin is a hormone produced by the anterior pituitary gland. Tsh stimulates the thyroid gland to produce thyroid hormone. Low TSH usually means that you are hyperthyroid. Hi TSH usually means that you are hypothyroid. The level of thyroid hormone in the blood regulates the release of TSH via a negative feedback loop.
