Hyperthyroidism: The most common symptoms/signs are being jittery, nervousness, tachycardia, fatigue, diarrhea, tremor, heat intolerance, reduction in menstrual flow, weight loss despite increased appetite, hypertension, increased perspiration, etc it could be other symptoms/signs depending on the cause and degree of increase in the hormone level.

The accelerator: Thyroid hormone regulates many metabolic functions like heart rate - excess will give tachycardia (fast heart rate) , weight loss, but not the good kind(you will loose muscle too), osteoporosis (even spontaneous fractures), excessive sweating, heat intolerance, shakiness and many others.
