A member asked:

What does thyroid hormone suppression involve?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Thyroid suppression: Answer: taking enough thyroid hormone so that your thyroid gland itself stops producing it and pumping it out. There are multiple drugs that can be used: levothyroxine, cytomel, armour thyroid, naturethroid, and thyrolar (thyroxine and liothyronine) (which is currently unavailable in the us).
